GLASTONBURY TOR - A climb against the energies...to fly with the energies.
A day trip to Glastonbury was calling me. With ‘shopping’ to do, I had time for 1 adventure...and I knew I was heading for the Tor...a 518 ft archaeological mound dating back to the 13th century and the dark ages beyond...with mythological and spiritual associations.
Glastonbury has powerful - high vibrational - energies, and the Tor stands above it all...keeping a watchful eye and ‘holding’ it all in place. Both grounded and ‘moving’, it is a powerful transmitter - an antennae too - hence why walking up it was like pushing against the flow. Once up though, and the energies open outwards with a wind to blow through the change.
At the top of the buttercup-covered mound, I was guided to walk around the building: 3 times clockwise, to release the energies I had brought with me, followed by 3 times anti-clockwise to collect what I needed. And then I entered (leaving by the opposite exit).
Inside, and I take a seat to notice 4 spirit guardians - 1 in each corner ...so we don’t stay too long! I noticed that everyone who came in, soon left rather quickly...the guardians were efficient at moving us on! No stragglers here...though outside, appreciating the 360 degree view was a natural resting spot for many.
How the ground and elevation of the Tor came to be is apparently somewhat of a mystery, though protected as a designated special place and managed by the @nationaltrust (thank you for the steps!). Tuning into the land, and my sense: it is hollow...supported by spheres of timeless energy. What that means, I have no idea...though I feel completely rejuvenated after my visit. It’s a place to soak up our presenting energies...and then radiate them out into the world...to unfold ahead of us. An antennae for the spirit.
If you like a little climb and some glorious Somerset countryside, then I firmly recommend it :)
