St MICHAEL’s MOUNT, Marazion, Cornwall
Well, what a fascinating place. I was drawn here because of the ley lines, which I wanted to experience. 4 main ley/energy lines – travelling beyond the UK – ‘converge’ on St Michaels Mount. (The St Michaels Line runs through Glastonbury Tor, Avebury, Mont St Michel in France and beyond, for instance).
My 1st visit was on foot. It’s quite spectacular to watch the tide recede and the path appear (between 9-11.40am on the day we visited) and for my 2nd visit, we went by boat.
Meeting the fabulous Nicola (with her ley line map) was the highlight of my day (and the yummy cream tea!) – what a gorgeous soul. Everybody at the site was so welcoming – and it is so well kept (it is inhabited by its owners). A true treasure – inside and out. As for the energies …. well, I’m not quite sure what to make of them.
Day 1 notes include: ‘it’s not it’s true place’, ‘it’s a decoy’, the chapel is a ‘cover-up’, ‘it’s the wrong flag’, etc. On the North Terrace I could strongly feel a ‘grid system’ of energy lines (4 lines), and aware the energies become more powerful the more we engage ‘with’ them. At the initial sight of the Mount, I felt a strong pull in my heart area (always a sign of strong energy for me).
Day 2 I focused more on the energies underlying the land (as opposed to tuning into the energies of the buildings and history). It was a more pleasant experience, though still somewhat confusing. Distance will inform me more, I sense.
Some of the fascinating history includes: a 7 ft skeleton from the 1500’s was discovered in a chamber under the chapel in the 1900’s, the monastery was first built around 1100’s (with Benedictine Monks sent from Mont St Michel), a monastery until 1535. It has no religious domination (released by the Pope), first inhabitants traced to 7000BC when Neolithic weapons were found, when there would have been no sea – just dry land connecting to Europe (called doggerland) and so, so much more …
All in all, a fascinating, surreal and vaguely perplexing experience.
If you have visited, I would love to know how you energetically experienced it?
Love,
Delilah x
