The Poetic is the Magic

I have loved this summer. In many ways … not least because it has prepared me for an autumn of writing. My virgo blood, now rested and elevated by sunshine and warmth, is eager to put pen to new paper – and to explore my notes of the past 18 months. As I delve into my stack of journals, I am struck by the opening passage …

‘The poetic is the magic. Without the embodied magic you will not achieve what you came here to do.’ – The Spirit of Rudyard Kipling.

This guidance resonates for me on many levels. My summer was poetic and lyrical. I am healthiest and freest – and my most wise – when embodying the magic. And yet, my virgo blood likes order. But too much order, and we lose the poetic. The light in our eyes threatens to dim … just a little and the connection is lost. ‘Life’ – not the reality of our true presence – takes over. It is a thin line: a subtle nuance which alters realities.

So, as September unravels, I invite you to embody the poetic and weave the magic in.

You will achieve what you came here to do :)

Love,

Delilah
