Hold it Lightly.
Wisdom and support, as we awaken
A weekly tw0-minute letter
The departure is inevitable once the arrival has occurred — Mr P. For me, it echoes the letting go of …
When an inspirational person passes into spirit, their wisdom ‘lands’ … becomes more present, and somehow ‘real’. We become touched by their presence; blessed by their gifts and aura …
Guide: … if it does not fit into your daily life, it does not fit in — it is energy we do not wish to carry …
For the past 6 months I have been custodian of a plot on an allotment. And I have loved every minute of it — even the considerable watering :) It has been one of the most creative experiences of my life …
This week, and tuning into the August-break vibes, I am sharing two ‘ponders’ from my notebooks, of conversations between myself and the Guides …
‘A Universe is cosmologically incomplete without the inclusion and senses of the viewer.’ — Mr P. I came across this sentence yesterday, from an ‘essay’ Mr P (the Spirit of Plato) asked me to channel in 2018 …
There is something which happens when the summer hits its stride (or the winter, for that matter) — and part of us relaxes and opens. A surrender into the flow — and a ‘quietening’ of a part of us …
We had a new moon this week, which my Guide asked me to notice. Specifically, the energy of it … have you noticed the difference in the energy, how it ‘shines’ a little today?
I am letting go. I have, this week, finished the writing stage of Metaphysical Observations Book Two — and am taking a moment whilst it is with my lovely copy-editor. A moment … as the ‘energy’ of writing both books, slowly recedes …
I have been struck this week by the number of ‘good news’ stories which have appeared to me. Mostly on Instagram, it must be said (so perhaps my algorithm is changing), but nonetheless exciting to see.
We are experiencing unusually high temperatures in the UK and Europe this week, and with the heat having ‘got’ to me a little, I perused some of my notes for inspiration — and landed on this sentence, channelled last year …
Spring 2012, I was invited by a friend to attend the Yorkshire landscape exhibition ‘David Hockney: A Bigger Picture’ at The Royal Academy of Arts, in London. It was, for me, a profound spiritual experience …
We are perhaps never fully ‘ready’. And always the magic is there. So we focus on the magic … breathing into it … and the threads re-weave themselves …
What am I going to write? — I asked out loud, my brain still fuzzled from long hours on my new book. Dearie, let me give you a topic … came the immediate reply to a question I hadn’t realised I was asking …
The sunshine we are experiencing in the UK this week is glorious — and powerful. I am loving the quality of it, and its energies; its rays, a reminder and prompt of our multi-dimensionality …
I have recently returned from four days hiking in Madeira. A journeying, from the highest peaks — through tunnels and along narrow paths, at height — down, under waterfalls, into sub-tropical rainforests; and back again, to re-emerge …
‘You favour too much the mind over the energy wishing to come through.’ (that was me told — yes, spiritual guides can be quite blunt at times. Perfectly so :))
Me: And what do we collectively need to do?
Guide: Let go and fall back into place. That is sufficient. Let go, and fall back into place.
‘Hold your femininity in your hands, not another’s.’ Nature is bursting with sensuality … if we feel into it. Gloriously feminine and also masculine, and all that both bring. A flower – holding itself – in its own beingness and fragile belonging.
This week we had Earth Day – a global moment of awareness for the Earth which gives us life. I like to imagine the power and reciprocity of billions of people showing appreciation – how the Land and Nature receives this. The hope this must give it.
I recently found myself drawn to a passage from my previous channelled Q+A series. It was a question posed on ‘job titles’ – and how to describe oneself in a world of changing roles. The responding guidance offers a beautiful enquiry, and a powerful daily practice. In summary …
‘When times become difficult, it is not the character of the path, but the character of the person which shines brightest.’
It has been quite a few weeks now, since the beginning of the year. A crazy and testing period of our lives — no matter where we live on this beautiful planet. The Easter holidays invite a pause — and give energy to new life. Perfect for reconnecting to the parts of ourself we may have temporarily forgotten — which stepped back, as we did what we needed to do …
We live in an energy crisis. Not because of lack — we have lots of energy. It is just misplaced. And often misused. So we start with ourselves — and a simple re-distribution of our required energy…
‘Dear one, let me give you a message. At the equinox, we give thanks – for the stability of worlds. It is a portal into the blessings and the goodness. Rest gently with this, for a while.’
Dreams are signatures of the soul, said my guide. The candle lit a flame in you. You now carry this forward. ‘It’, like all things, is multidimensional.
Our world is experiencing many ‘explosions’ of energy which can be hard to witness. Especially if we are sensitive energetically – and even if we are not. As the underlying global tensions shift and release, try not to label them. We don’t have to use the ‘W’ word or spread the energy of another’s narrative…
When travelling, or walking, I take my little thermometer with me — to test the temperature of the land or field of energy I am moving within. It’s an inner instrument … my clue to what is going on beneath the surface — my equivalent of a pendulum…
A moment of overwhelm … before writing my book, The Realms Awaken. And finding this channelled passage today, a recognition that in the early writing of my new book, I am also a little scared … of the wonder and vastness of it all. Of capturing the uncapturable.
Going through my notebooks this week, I came across the following passage which I channelled a couple of years ago. It is different from what I normally write, but given that we are currently experiencing over 40 continuous days of rain in the UK (and much global upheaval and distraction) — and with this forecast likely to continue across many parts of our planet — I sense an underlying beauty and relevance within the message.

Delilah’s Guides are a group of metaphysical and spiritual beings — some having previously incarnated on Earth. Collectively they impart wisdom to Delilah, and individually they connect with her for specific bodies of work. They currently include the Spirit of Plato, the Spirit of Rudyard Kipling, The Elders — a group of six Beings and Sages — and Beings from the angelic realms.

We all channel at some level – divine and embodied inspiration which ignites our creativity and soothes our human spirit. For Delilah, she ‘hears’ the words and feels the energetic presence – and engagement – of her Guides. These words she silently converses with or writes down as channelled passages – similar to dictation. Channelling can be a feeling we embody or one that passes through our physical, emotional, mental and energetic fields and layers of being. You may perceive it in any number of subtle ways. We can think of it as wisdom, insight or inspiration coming alive within us.

Let the words and energies flow over you and integrate as needed. If a passage or recording resonates with you, it is recommended to revisit it for further exploration. Many people mention gaining deeper or different insight each time they read or listen to the messages and energies of the words.
