Plot 1 Field-Side

‘A mind in the gym is not the same as a mind outdoors — bending, tending, being …’ — Mr P.

For the past 6 months I have been custodian of a plot on an allotment. And I have loved every minute of it — even the considerable watering :) It has been one of the most creative experiences of my life … so much discovery. And joy. It has also shown me, in the most natural way, the energy of ‘enjoying the fruits of our labour’. Our — because to grow food, we cannot do it ‘alone’. Life is necessarily interconnected.

My soul has shifted a little through growing my own food. It has settled and grown in confidence — as have I. It’s something I thoroughly recommend, even if only for a while or by helping another (and make sure they let you taste it :))

It is a true experience of life.

The Observer Effect

‘A Universe is cosmologically incomplete without the inclusion and senses of the viewer.’ — Mr P.

I came across this sentence yesterday, from an ‘essay’ Mr P (the Spirit of Plato) asked me to channel in 2018. A different quote from it — which I had noted and will share at some point — took me to the essay which was originally intended for the scientific community. And this one ‘popped out’ at me.

It’s one to ponder, isn’t it? Whilst we might ‘know’ this — how the observer, or interference, influences the outcome (as demonstrated by scientists in the double-slit experiment) — it’s another thing to integrate it more fully into our lives … and the world at large.

To accept that what we observe, and by observing, we alter the outcome.

Which puts all of us in a position of power.

So, while we are connected to our universe, we are also part of the change.

And that can change everything.

The Quietening

There is something which happens when the summer hits its stride (or the winter, for that matter) — and part of us relaxes and opens. A surrender into the flow — and a ‘quietening’ of a part of us.

How do you wish to experience this quietude within you? Because we only have so many summers and winters.

There is a preciousness to this — a simple joy, perhaps … to be alive at this time, in this seasonal turn of the world. A gratitude and a pause — to be here now.

The invitation which matches the decision

We had a new moon this week, which my Guide asked me to notice. Specifically, the energy of it … have you noticed the difference in the energy, how it ‘shines’ a little today? I noticed a subtlety, between ether and energy, and a reflectiveness: to create new intentions and actions. To engage with the portal of the new moon, in a deeper way. And to do this, you create the invitation, he said. Consider the invitation which matches the decision and intention. And that was the difference. Because sometimes we can intend something and there can also be a gap. In this new moon energy, I could see more clearly — and ‘the match’ feels evocative and exciting.

An invisible completion

I am letting go.

I have, this week, finished the writing stage of Metaphysical Observations Book Two — and am taking a moment whilst it is with my lovely copy-editor. A moment … as the ‘energy’ of writing both books, slowly recedes. Of a feeling I have been carrying — a ‘load’ of sorts — for a very long time (there can be many iterations and ‘false’ starts to writing a book …). And it needs a moment of adjustment, as do I (timed nicely for the sunshine :))

… because the new is already knocking at the door. A near-silent rapety-rap-rap — of a new energy already alive in me, nudging me … to answer.

But first, the release …

‘The loads show themselves in many ways — always invisible before their appearance. And always containing love at their core. To discard them is not to discard love, but to relinquish a former discovery of Love in return for the new capacity and the new dawn.’* — Mr P

… because I’m feeling a lot of Love in the air right now.

What previously invisible ‘loads’ might you be ready — or becoming ready — to release?

*This is a quote that didn’t quite make it into The Realms Awaken, Metaphysical Observations Book One. Passage 87 in the book references the invisible loads we carry — an important observation during transitions in our energy and alignment.

What we notice, grows

I have been struck this week by the number of ‘good news’ stories which have appeared to me. Mostly on Instagram, it must be said (so perhaps my algorithm is changing), but nonetheless exciting to see.

Items include:

• A post on the Well-being of Future Generations Act (Wales) 2015 which legally obliges Welsh public bodies to consider the long-term impact of their decisions on future generations … including the interests of people who aren’t yet born. Not ‘new’ news — but new to me. A forward-thinking model, now cited internationally.

• The Princess of Wales’s words (on 28.06.26, upon completing the National Three Peaks Challenge) on the challenges of a cancer diagnosis and the importance of holistic healthcare — “… physically, emotionally, psychologically and spiritually”. I loved her choice of words — echoed in my work and the new book I am just about to complete — of “… the journey through and beyond…” and “… healing, whether personal or collective, is not just about fixing what is wrong. It is about finding balance in how we live … it is about knowing how to stay grounded, connected and present, no matter the terrain or landscape you are walking.” Wonderful words and energies from someone with such influence and compassion.

• Multiple stories, in the US and from Devon in the UK, of people coming together to stand up to proposed construction — and the destruction of land (850 acres in the proposed Devon site) — for vast, energy- and water-consuming data centres.

The ‘increase’ of news stories, both ‘positive’ and ‘fearful’ can be overwhelming. But if we can notice and give energy to the ones we like — if we can say ‘Yes!’ to the universal laws and metaphysical connections supporting acts of positive and inclusive momentum in the world, this too, is change.

And then, what we notice begins to grow.

Lightness in the heat

We are experiencing unusually high temperatures in the UK and Europe this week, and with the heat having ‘got’ to me a little, I perused some of my notes for inspiration — and landed on this sentence, channelled last year. It feels relevant … supportive, and perhaps connected?

There is a great movement in the world towards the Light, at this time of instability. — Archangel guidance, February 2025.

I also realised, while sitting on the tube (yes, grateful for a seat in an air-conditioned carriage) that it would be beneficial to put my own words into practice. ‘Heat’, like energy, is invisible — transparent. We can all appreciate each other feeling the heat during a heatwave, and people can feel ‘heat’ in other ways, too — at any time of year. We don’t know what other people have going on for them, do we? Heat, like energy, needs managing — we must take care of our energy fundamentals, leakages and vision. What fundamental practices of care do you need to have a great day? Where might you be leaking energy or balance in the heat? What is your vision, whilst operating in 35 degrees? A heatwave requires we ‘up’ our attention on these practices, and notice the narrative we are giving to ourselves and it.

After all, we are moving towards the Light, aren’t we? :)

Thank you, Mr Hockney

Spring 2012, I was invited by a friend to attend the Yorkshire landscape exhibition ‘David Hockney: A Bigger Picture’ at The Royal Academy of Arts, in London. It was, for me, a profound spiritual experience.

Long before I became connected to trees, years before I would discover my ability to converse with and heal the land, and a full year before I consciously began channelling, the energy of David Hockney’s canvases brought me to tears. Because standing in that hall, surrounded by the energies in his paintings, I recognised the something: the connection to unlimited potential.

I was in the midst of my spiritual awakening, and trying to ground. To keep my feet planted, as I continued treatment for, and healed through, cancer. I was flying high on the energies of my awakening — and Mr Hockney’s paintings told me that what I was experiencing was real. That someone — a 74 year-old someone, outdoors in all weathers — could tap into an open source; could paint such enormous and luminous canvases, day after day — sometimes two works in a day — this altered a paradigm in me. In fact, it blew me into position. Because I now knew that what I was feeling, and what I felt that day, was true.

So, thank you Mr Hockney, for your glorious art — and showing me our limitless potential.

I bow to you, and your continued journey.

Alchemy in motion

Me: We start before we are ready.

Mr P: Exactly. For that is where the magic happens.

We are perhaps never fully ‘ready’. And always the magic is there. So we focus on the magic … breathing into it … and the threads re-weave themselves.

It is alchemy in motion — outside of time — in its own readiness.

An invitation, to an expanded Realm within us.

Trusting, the magic. And our true step.

What am I going to write? — I asked out loud, my brain still fuzzled from long hours on my new book.

Dearie, let me give you a topic … came the immediate reply to a question I hadn’t realised I was asking.

Now, it’s best not to look a gift horse in the mouth, as the saying goes — especially when mentally tired. So, here is the chosen excerpt from my book with the Spirit of Rudyard Kipling:

“RK: My reason for compiling, or constructing, this conversation is to allow the spread of energy. You have gathered the means to create a work of writing with Spirit. You have compiled the energetic materials, of your own doing, and this is an invitation to Spirit – that perhaps you are not aware you are signalling. There are many, many of us here in this reality who wish to share energy with the living on Earth. Because we have much to offer by way of understanding; a reckoning, of sorts, to establish continuation. You see, dearie, if I write and share through you, I write and share with all.”

So … let’s ask: what invitation might you be making to Spirit … that you are unaware you are signalling?

Multi-dimensional sunshine

The sunshine we are experiencing in the UK this week is glorious — and powerful. I am loving the quality of it, and its energies; its rays, a reminder and prompt of our multi-dimensionality — influencing and feeding life, beyond what we could ever imagine.

‘An axis, swirling like a vortex within time and space … this is what being human is.’ — Mr P.

Our global transition is to one of increased awareness. Of the multi-dimensionality of existence — of the aliveness of the creativity and love. Already present, enthusing everything — if we let it.

Days of sunshine are opportunities: to ‘upgrade’ our energy fields and expand them. It’s not so much about ‘getting vitamin D’ from the sun’s rays. The invitation — and practice — is to enthuse ourselves with the vibrations and the codes within them.

… to become increasingly multi-dimensional. And human.

Credit the Source

I have recently returned from four days hiking in Madeira. A journeying, from the highest peaks — through tunnels and along narrow paths, at height — down, under waterfalls, into sub-tropical rainforests; and back again, to re-emerge … different. A symbolic and energetic activation and integration: of the energies of the new book I am writing … into this moment of space and time. Into my energy field; by walking — to an unknown place, which I recognised when I arrived. A moment and a magnetic place, igniting something within me.

Preparing me, to complete the work.

Our world is full of these power-spots; everywhere, all around us — because of the water, and its magical qualities. A vital source which many of us take for granted (I did, and possibly still do — for what it truly enables for us). In how we care for it and how we ‘use’ it. How we are it.

But not in Madeira — with their inspiring network of Levadas.

‘Credit the Source in all that you do, for the Source is also you … also everything.’

There is a power needed, sometimes — to give life to our creative endeavours. A source, needing acknowledgment — for reasons we may not know. And a vitality, to complete something bigger than ourselves.

I have returned knowing the power of our water is awakening. And that we are, too.

This glorious time of year

We only have to glance, to see spring bursting towards us. Even locked in buildings, we can feel it tapping at the window. Calling, ‘I am here, in full bloom!’ Step outside, and it can be overwhelming – the force of its beauty.

Surely, the divine at work?

Which brings to mind channelled guidance I once received:

‘Hold your femininity in your hands, not another’s.’

Nature is bursting with sensuality … if we feel into it. Gloriously feminine and also masculine, and all that both bring. A flower – holding itself – in its own beingness and fragile belonging.

Showing us, how to be.

Inviting us, to feel …

… and to celebrate, at this glorious time of year.

‘Take it a day at a time, that’s what we do.’

This week we had Earth Day – a global moment of awareness for the Earth which gives us life. I like to imagine the power and reciprocity of billions of people showing appreciation – how the Land and Nature receives this. The hope this must give it.

And, we can take our connection further … inviting communication with it. If we listen gently, with ourselves out of the way.

Said the little tree: ‘Take it a day at a time, that’s what we do.’

I communicate with Nature a lot, especially when ‘working’ energetically with the Land. And even this can be transactional compared to what is possible – whether ‘heard’, ‘seen’, felt or imagined. When we become even gentler – gentle in the bones of our being – and seek maybe the quietest voice in the forest, the garden, the verge … this is when true magic can happen.

‘Go sweetly into the night. Go sweetly into the day,’ said the smallest tree.

The one everyone walked by.

Three questions we can all ask ourselves

I recently found myself drawn to a passage from my previous channelled Q+A series (I have been intending to revisit them for quite some time … they contain such timeless and practical wisdom). It was a question posed on ‘job titles’ – and how to describe oneself in a world of changing roles. The responding guidance offers a beautiful enquiry, and a powerful daily practice. In summary:

Ask your heart, what ‘it’ wishes for a description (or, for today) – and you have yourself an adventure of spirit and of means.

Describe your heart, and you have your why.

Satisfy your heart and you have your purpose.

What does your heart tell you, today?

And what might it tell you tomorrow?

If you have worked with me, you will know how important I consider the practice of checking in with our heart daily – or more frequently, if needed. It is the cornerstone of any spiritual or energetic practice; and often overlooked – literally :) Remember to ask it its wisdom – not what you think it’s saying – but directly from the energy of your heart. On the small things, as well as the large ones. A moment of free personal guidance :)

The Spirit of Humanity

‘When times become difficult, it is not the character of the path, but the character of the person which shines brightest.’

There is a lot going on in the world and a lot needing attention. Spring is delighting the doorstep, with all the joy this brings — and we are being called to play our part, as a member of the human race, in the restructuring of reality on this beautiful planet. While being stronger than the path of a small handful of ‘world leaders’.

It’s a lot — and, we can make it a little easier on ourselves by observing, as we might Nature, to where we are drawn. Inviting our attention and what we observe, to awaken our spirit; not close it down. A lightbeam is being shone — on everyone. Which gives us the opportunity to ripen our character. And grow into our hearts.

Because, just maybe, nothing is more important than the spirit of humanity, right now. Yours, mine, all of ours.
