The Quietening

There is something which happens when the summer hits its stride (or the winter, for that matter) — and part of us relaxes and opens. A surrender into the flow — and a ‘quietening’ of a part of us.

How do you wish to experience this quietude within you? Because we only have so many summers and winters.

There is a preciousness to this — a simple joy, perhaps … to be alive at this time, in this seasonal turn of the world. A gratitude and a pause — to be here now.

With gratitude to you.

‘Love speaks loudest when we stop demanding of ourselves. She speaks when we quieten — and when we open the inner ear, the inner heart and the inner mind of our accepted complexity. She speaks when we let go.’
